Had a great time at the Botanic Gardens last Saturday and I'm very happy with some of the shots I got. Here's three of them. I got together with three other photographers from flickr there. I saw quite a few artists drawing and sketching there too and it made me think of you all!
these are great Esther! love the out of focus blossoms in front of the robin, adds a nice flare of colour.
ReplyDeleteAnd you found a real extrovert squirrel too, although he also looks like he might go around beating up the other squirrels & stealing their nuts..."whatyou lookin at?"
Thanks Damien, and I think you're right about that squirrel, ha, ha!
ReplyDeleteI really like the squirrel..He looks like a boxer! Squirrels are everywhere over here (london) Im still at the stage of being excited when i see one - im obviously a blow-in!
ReplyDeleteThanks Noirin. I get very excited too when I see one. There are lots of them at the Botanic Gardens. I've never see one anywhere else in Dublin although I'm sure they're around!
ReplyDeletePheonix park is good for them too - if you take the walking path off Acres Road..or im sure any of the tree filled areas..
ReplyDeleteThey are really beautiful Esther!! What a nice moments!.

Thanks for that link Jane, they're brilliant! I hope I can catch those deer soon, but I'm kind of reluctant to go to the Phoenix Park by myself. I'd have to convince the family one of these weekends, or if anybody from here wants to join me...
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I like the new banner. Who did it?
In the meantime here's a picture by one of my flickr contacts:
