SUNDAY OCT 25th 7pm Storytelling visual and narrative

GLOR SESSIONS + STORYTELLING EXHIBITION
thisisnotashop, benburb st
sunday oct 25th, 7pm to 9.00pm

From the bowels of Dublin’s International Bar, the Glór Sessions comes to Smithfield’s thisisnotashop gallery for a one-off festival special. This unique show, MC’ed by Stephen James Smith, will feature personal interpretations by a number of regular Glór poets, of the lyrics of folk hero Woody Gutherie, alongside the usual eclectic mix of singer-songwriters. With a group exhibition on the theme of ‘Storytelling’ running simultaneously, we hope that this will add some exciting new elements to both forms of art, as oral and visual storytellers cross paths in an exploration of narrative.

Storytelling is presented by Tinderbox Network and runs Wed 21st - Sun 25th Oct.
