Hey Jane, what kind of oil pastels do you use? I've been shopping around and sampling different kinds of soft and hard pastels. Would you have a particular brand you could recommend?
How do you find mixing the oil and ink? Does the pastel have to go on last?
hey miss claire ....well , you are luckily in the right place for my absolute fave oil pastels.....sennelier , made in paris , they are pure pigment and worth the money , you can get them singly . oil goes over my ink drawing ....but i do draw on the backs of my drawings too ....hee hee:) thanks for your interest , bet you are going to buy some lovely sennelier pastels today x god I wish I were in paris !
Looking good Jane..nice surroundings too - a good Cuppa is always good when being creative :) Paris trip would be nice - maybe next year we could have a Tinderbox Field Trip to Paris!? (good excuse as any)
