Storytelling a la carte with StorySketch, Library Bar Extension, Thursday 22 April
Sketch artists are invited to draw as the inspiration moves them, while two of Dublin's most daring and innovative storytellers, Adam Wilson and Coilín “The” Oh-Aissieux, perform stories from a menu. Ask for your favourites, or for something new: Arabian Nights, Irish mythology, tales of shamanism, mermaids, and much more.
Disclaimer: These stories may contain scenes of misogyny, race hatred, extreme violence, graphic sexual content, strong language and witchcraft, which some listeners may find inoffensive.
We will grant free admission to future storytelling shows to those artists whose art works we use, with their permission, to promote the club. See for example Susan Levinsohn's portrait of The Oh-Aissieux above, and Sarah Bowie's magical sketches here: http://dublinsketchers.blogspot.com/2010/03/story-sketches.html
Library Bar Extension, Central Hotel, Exchequer Street, Dublin 2.
Show starts at 8 pm sharp. Doors 7.30 pm.
Admission: EUR 6. Concessions: EUR 2. Can't pay? Don't pay!
