Rêve ailé

Thank you Jane for your last post, a very good idea you had ! Also, I am wondering when is exactly the deadline about "Gods and monsters", because I have a project (I know, I am very late). Thank you for an answer. Germain

Great work as always Germain! You capture the shade and light so well with this technique, such a distinct style you have. The movement of the lines really gives it life. love it.

Wow Germain, this is fantastic! I especially like the decision to use the line of light in the background.
Brilliant!

Hello Denise, Jane, Claire, Thank you very much for your nice words. Yes, Jane, It is a self-portrait and the pun in title helps to understand the draw...

Hey Germain,
Hmmm I love how it vibrates with volume. And yes, that white line at the background really gives it a punch. Do you make comics?

About the deadline, this is the deal (Emma, correct me if wrong): we have a great collection of texts (see them below in the blog) to be illustrated. You can choose one and illustrate it, or just do your own take with illustration, comic, text, you name it.

Deadline, a fuzzy one. Personally, I would like to publish for Xmas, that means we should get cracking with drawing during this month of October. Tell us how this sounds to you.

Great to see your drawing! And... please, translate your title for me, I don't speak any French, ay!

elida.

Hello Elida, Thank you for your answer. October is good for me, I have an idea of a draw for the subject. About "rêve ailé", the title means : "winged dream" because the shadow of eyeglasses draws the appearance of a bird between nose and chin. Also, "rêve ailé" is a pun in the pronunciation with "révéler" wich means : "reveal". That was the key.

Hello Pict-Ish, thank you very much, it is the same for me.
